The last farewell to Sabato
The country fired pain Ernesto Sabato, the last survivor a generation of brilliant writers who designed the plane Argentine letters universal. In his youth he was an active Communist Party member, but later split it to see the aberrations of the Stalinist regime. Then he said no political party affiliation and support anything to denounce anything that was false, despicable, dirty, corrupt and hypocritical. After the deep disappointment felt by the state socialism, Sabato defended the idea of \u200b\u200ba society based on respect for individual liberty, for freedom of association, in the cooperative, science and economics and political decentralization.
In his old age was declared a Christian anarchist. In an interview with the Bogota newspaper El Tiempo, said: "I am an anarchist! An anarchist in the best sense of the word. The people believe that is what brings anarchist bombs, but anarchists were the great spirits as , for example Leo Tolstoy " (1). In another, the daily El Pais said "Although I was communist activist, anarchism has always seemed a way of achieving social justice with full freedom. And I appreciate the Christianity of the Gospel. This century is appalling and will end horribly. All who can save him is to return to poetic thought, in that social anarchism and art. " (2)
Sabato was a brilliant figure for her time commitment. One might or might not share their ideas, but never stop to ponder his intellectual honesty and his adherence to the truth. A Sabato hurt his country and the lack of output conflicts, but never abandoned to despair. Sabato
