"A lie repeated a thousand times becomes truth ...." From that famous phrase uttered by the Minister of Hitler, Joseph Goebbels (1), much water has flowed under the bridge and the concept has been repeatedly used by all sorts of political regimes around the globe. Therefore, according to the French writer and journalist Jean Francois Revel, a lie is the first of the forces that govern the world (2), and in some ways, the most active tool at the disposal of governments to deceive the masses and perpetuate in power.

The actual numbers published by the INDEC, are a pathetic showing of the official lie. Undoubtedly, their measurements on inflation are false, but using most of indulgences could classify them as wrong, at least. This is a check that all Argentines made per day off the shelves of supermarkets, shops, when we pay our expenses, utility bills or when valuations are increased when discussing tax or joint.
