Argentina can not continue with current levels of corruption
not

Argentina can continue with current levels of corruption. No country can achieve harmonious development and social balance reasonable if the officers engaged in looting with impunity. It is true that the suspect can not become evidence, but only see how many of our public men spend little time in a sparsely decorated living millionaires, it enough to be aware of the seriousness of the illness. Corruption involves

worst state services, education worse, worse security, justice worse, worse health and less infrastructure. Is that much of what the state collects through taxes stays in the panniers of officials, and hear me well, not in your pockets, but in the saddle by the volume of larceny felt today.

We know that our country comes with a note of postponement for time measurements of perceived corruption, Transparency International, an NGO in worldwide prestige. For 2010 was 2.9 out of 10 possible points and held the ignominious position number 105. Argentina has been falling since 2001 when his score was 3.5. (*) And we must stop this fall.

we should be ashamed that the world considers us the same moral level of the worst republics or nefarious regimes on the planet. In our America, only less well qualified than Argentina, Bolivia, Guyana, Ecuador, Nicaragua, Honduras, Haiti, Paraguay and Venezuela. All the rest are better. A special emphasis for Chile and Uruguay, our closest neighbors, which received honorable scores of 7.2 and 6.9 the first second.

One of the most common forms of corruption is bribery. It works this way: a company supply of money in exchange for being promoted in a tender, or worse, when it is dispensed and used the mechanism of direct recruitment to build a building, road repairs or any public work. But there are many forms that corruption, from trying to dictate or modify a law or ordinance, kickbacks to legislators or councilors, or through a curry favor with decision-making official. Vale as an example of an individual or company making a major gift to a judge, as a valuable item or a trip, to achieve a settlement or a favorable ruling. It is also simple corruption of a traffic cop receiving some money for not imposing a fine. Both the giver and the receiver committed a crime.

Our Criminal Code defines the crime of bribery and corruption, the one by which a person himself or through others offers a gift, favor, promise or advantage to a public official in the performance of their duties to perform or refrain an act that is within their competence, grieving the same way as the official who accepts them as to who offers them.

But it is society that must firmly reject any crime. Left of the stupidity of "stealing but does" an aphorism of unknown origin, but has led to the ignominious status current. He who steals must be in jail and do not hold office in the State. Make no mistake, the corruption is the greatest evil that can affect an organized society and we must all fight.
